 Theme
The theme that I have chosen for this assignment is osteoporosis bone. The osteoporosis bone is a disease of bones that might incur various illnesses such as fracture. Depends on different level of the disease, the bone will have different in the bone mineral density (BMD). Due to different bone mineral density, they will construct several of holes shapes, this inspires me that to make different size of holes which has similar structure, it will explore through the models.

Processing
When I first attempt to make this model, i start to build up a gentle surface and extrude it, trying to link it back to grasshopper. By doing this, I use corner box to set the set the geometry in eight corners in place. After that, through the use of twisted box, this allows me to distort the geometry in my ideal shape.
After I finish modelling the shape, I start to develop my model in grasshopper.  My concept is to make various different sizes of holes. According to the concept, I come up with the idea to use a plugin to achieve this. I use the software called “Weaverbird” for my meshing, the major notes that I used for this model is the weaverbird frame note and the window notes, the frame notes helps to generate the quad holes and the window notes is to reconstruct mesh face inside the rectangle.

WEEK 1 TASK

cell membrane
The cell membrane or plasma membrane is a biological membrane that separates the interior of all cells from the outside environment. The cell membrane is selectively permeable to ions and organic molecules and controls the movement of substances in and out of cells. It basically protects the cell from outside forces. It consists of the lipid bilayer with embedded proteins.

Crystal growth involves a variety of research fields ranging from surface physics, crystallography, and material sciences to condenser mater physics.

Tree branches are woody structural member connected to but not part of the central trunk of a tree (or sometimes a shrub). Large branches are known as boughs and small branches are known as twigs.
The branches can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal, the majority of trees have upwardly diagonal branches.
